Donald Teddy Kane

Donald Teddy Kane, 72, of High Island died January 15, 2012, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital.   A native of High Island he was born on December 26, 1939, to John Taylor Kane, Sr. and Irene Emily Monteau Kane. Teddy was a retired operator with Tenneco.   He is survived by his son, David Kane of High Island; daughter, Caryl Lee Kane of Wharton; brother, John T. Kane, Jr. of High Island; sisters, Rosa L. Stone of Beaumont and Irene Merchant of High Island; and a host of relatives and friends.   His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning, January 19, 2012, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie with burial at High Island Cemetery. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, January 17, 2012, at Broussard’s.
