Caroline Middleton Bernsen, 92, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont.
Born November 7, 1919, in Beaumont, to Idabelle Middleton Bernsen and Albert William Dutch Bernsen, Ms. Bernsen had been a resident of California, Hawaii and Beaumont.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Joyce Bernsen; and many other loving family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Kenesaw, Jim and Bob Bernsen; and three sisters, Martha Ann Swain, Ray Roberts, and Betty Tassari.
A Rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m., with a gathering of her family and friends to follow, Friday, January 13, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2012, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2715 Calder, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s.
