  Ramie Joseph LeBlanc, 80, of Winnie died on January 6, 2012, at the Winnie Community Hospital. He was born on May 18, 1931, in Morse, Louisiana, and lived in the Winnie area for forty-five years. Ramie worked in the Maintenance Department for the East Chambers Independent School District before retiring. He served during the Korean Conflict with the United States Army. Ramie was a proud veteran and a member of the American Legion of Winnie and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.   He is survived by his daughters, Bertha Ann Trahan of Jennings, Louisiana and Cynthia Taylor and her husband, Terry of Winnie; son, Floyd LeBlanc and his wife, Lori of Cocoa Beach, Florida; step-daughter, Linda Frugia and her husband, Mike of Nederland; sisters, Mary Ann Nicarre of Scott, Louisiana and Nathilda Camel of Jennings, Louisiana; Grandson, Brandon LeBlanc and nine other grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Tonis Touchet and Elenor LeBlanc; wife of thirty-nine years, Theresa LeBlanc; daughter, Belinda Ann LeBlanc; son, Benard James LeBlanc; and four brothers; and two sisters.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday morning, January 9, 2012, at St. Louis Catholic Church,315 W. Buccaneer Drive with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie. A rosary will be at 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening January 8, 2012, at Broussard’s with a gathering of his family and friends to follow until 8:00 p.m.
