Doug Banks, 52, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Southern Hills Nursing Home in Tulsa. Doug was born in Port Arthur on April 21, 1959 to James Daniel and Frances Audrey (King) Banks. A resident of Tulsa for the past three years, Doug had resided in Wildwood for over thirty years and was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church.
He is survived by his brother, James Daniel Banks and wife Nancy of Tulsa, Oklahoma; nieces, Emily Banks Hecker and husband Solal, Laura Banks; grand nephews, Otis and Noah Hecker.
A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Village Mills Cemetery in Village Mills under the direction of Broussard’s in Kountze.
