Wilma Jean Davila, 86, of Nederland died December 16, 2011 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. Born July 28, 1925 in Port Arthur and a resident of the Nederland area since 1945, Wilma was the daughter of Mirtha Mann Hardy and Ross Hardy. She was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph Davila and his wife, Pamela of West Friendship, Maryland and Philip Davila and his wife, Janelle of Grand Prairie, Texas; grandchildren, Ross Davila and his wife, Jessica of Ketchikan, Alaska, Eliot Davila and his wife, Thaissa of Berwyn Heights, Maryland, Carrie Davila of West Friendship, Maryland, Eric Davila and his wife, Amber of Oakland, California, and Andrew Davila and Michael Davila both of Fort Worth; niece, Lynda Rebert and her husband George of Nederland and ten other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Manuel Davila.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 101 Block Street, Port Neches under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday evening, December 19, 2011 from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Broussard’s.
