Jennieva Sturrock, 80, of Vidor, died Thursday, December 15, 2011, at Harbor Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont.

A native of Colmesneil and resident of Vidor since 1952, Mrs. Sturrock was born November 16, 1931, to Molly Million Morris and Sam Morris.

Survivors include her son, Jimmy Van Sturrock and his wife, Debra of Vidor; grandson, Edward Wayne Sturrock and his wife, Casey; great-grandchildren, Alexis Sturrock, Gage Morrison, and Luke Sturrock; and sisters, Margo Turner, Jennette Dougherty, Mary Fuselier, and Zilla “Pete” Deggs.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Wayne Sturrock; her parents; brother, Burl; and sisters, Moree and Kay.

A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
