Claudia Miller

Claudia Miller, 82, of Groves, died Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at Silsbee Oaks Healthcare facility, Silsbee. Born April 9, 1929, to Maretta and Ralph Jopling in Tenaha, Texas, she was a lifelong resident of the area.  Claudia was a great cook, loved her family and enjoyed gatherings with loved ones, especially Christmas time.

She is survived by her son, Ralph Martin and his wife, Marianne of Lumberton; daughters-in-law, Charlotte Martin and Cheryl Martin; eight grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

Claudia is preceded in death by her husband, H. Paul Martin; and son, Paul Martin.

Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2011, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.  A gathering of her family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 2011, at Broussard’s.
