Bill Cook, 66, of Beaumont, died at home Sunday, December 11, 2011, surrounded by his family. He was born March 12, 1945, in Tallmadge, Ohio, to Evelyn Stiles Drouet and Albert Wesley Cook, and had lived in Beaumont since 1974. Bill owned and operated West End Automotive in Beaumont for over thirty years.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Cook of Beaumont; daughter, Jennifer Hunt and her husband, Jeff, of Waco; son, Zachary Cook of Beaumont; grandchildren, Samuel Hunt and Elizabeth Hunt; brother, John Cook; sisters, Debbie Schonauer and Judy Thompson; and numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 2011, at Broussard’s.
A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
