Tim Walker, 63, of Groves, died Saturday, December 10, 2011. Born October 30, 1948, to Margaret Provost and Timothy Andrew Walker, Sr. in Port Arthur, he was a lifelong resident of the area. Tim was employed as a process operator with G.E.Betz. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid goose hunter.
Tim is survived by his daughter, Julie Ann Walker of LaBelle; son, Andy Walker of Groves; brothers, Gordon Schreiber of San Diego, California and Jerry Schreiber and his wife, Sue of Surprise, Arizona; sister, Marie Montclair of Sunrise, Arizona; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 2011, at the VFW Hall, 710 Main Avenue, Port Arthur, Texas 77642.
A private family committal will be held at a later date with Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
