Charles R. Lutrick, 81, of Beaumont, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

 

A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, Charles was born August 29, 1930, to Gladys Culp Lutrick and Charles Clark Lutrick.  He was a Korean War Combat Veteran and was employed at Western Electric, AT&T, and Lucent; he retired after thirty-five years of service. Charles was a member of North End Baptist Church.

 

The beloved husband, father and grandfather is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Helen Louise Thomas Lutrick; sons, Charles Gary Lutrick and his wife, Celi Olivencia Lutrick of Atlanta, Georgia and Thomas Mark Lutrick and  his wife, Shannon Miller Lutrick of Colleyville;  grandchildren, Andrea Lutrick of Temple, Kathryn Lutrick of Athens, Georgia, Claire, and Emily Nicole Lutrick of Atlanta, Georgia,  and Abigail and Joshua Lutrick of Colleyville; sister, Sarah Beth Foote and her husband, Bob of Plum Grove; mother-in-law, Clara Thomas; brother-in-law, Jimmy Thomas and his wife, JoAnn of Tarkington; and many nieces and nephews.

 

He was a great father, husband and friend to many and will be sadly missed.

 

His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of his family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, prior to his service, at Broussard’s.
