Clarence “Mr. C” Kucera, 72, of Sour Lake, died Saturday, December 10, 2011, at his residence.
He was born April 1, 1939, in Lolita, to Ellen Venglar Kucera and John E. Kucera, and had been a resident of Sour Lake since 1985. He served in the Texas Army National Guard and was a retired transport driver for Sunoco.
Survivors include his wife of forty-seven years, Robbie Kucera of Sour Lake; son, Karl Kucera and his wife, Terri of Fountain Valley, California; daughter, Kena Kucera-Shaw and her husband, Robert of Sour Lake; grandchildren, Landon Kucera, Nash Kucera, Slater Kucera, Kenay Shaw, and K’Bre Shaw; mother, Ellen Kucera of Edna; brothers, Herman Kucera and his wife, Linda of Wood High and Charles Kucera and his wife, Billie of Inez.
He is preceded in death by his father; two brothers; and his sister.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December, 13, 2011, at Rosedale Cemetery, 505 Old Beaumont Road, Sour Lake under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
