Mildred Pearl Foux, 84, of Fannett, died Saturday, December 10, 2011. A native of Hayes, Louisiana and resident of the Beaumont area for over seventy years, Mrs. Foux was born August 16, 1927, to Alida Moore and Eulice Venable.
Survivors include her daughters, Mona Foux Norris of Fannett, and Glenda Foux Hale of Beaumont; sons, Scott Foux and Freddy Foux both of China; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandbaby; sister, Yvonne Venable Aiena and her husband, Leon Aiena, Sr. of Fannett; and brothers, Calbert J. Venable of Mississippi and E.J. Venable of Groves.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of over sixty years, Teddy John Foux; brothers, Joe Venable and Mike Venable; and sister, Irene Venable Zeyrangue.
Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont, with interment to follow at China Cemetery, Benoit Avenue, China. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m., with a gathering of her family and friends to follow, Monday, December 12, 2011, at Broussard’s.
