Patricia "Pat" Mitchell Blount

Patricia “Pat” Mitchell Blount, 61, of Winnie died December 08, 2011, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital of Houston.  Pat was a woman who loved her family, loved her pets, and loved to have a good time.   A native of Sour Lake, she was born on December 10, 1949, to John L. Kight and Theresa Dugas Kight and has lived in the Winnie area for several years.   Pat is survived by her dear friend, Cindy Hebert of Winnie; children, John R. “Ricky” Holmes and his wife, Katharine of Humble, Monique “Mo” Holmes of Vidor, Scarlet Foster and her husband, Rick of Houston, and Damon Holmes and his wife, Cindy of Austin; one sister; two brothers; grandchildren, Cameron Holmes, Erick Holmes, Katie Grace Holmes, Makayla Holmes, Hayley Davis, Christopher Holmes, Kyrstin Holmes, and Steven Moralez who all loved her very much.  

Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2011, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
