Brenda Lee Broussard, 68, of Beaumont died Sunday, December 4, 2011, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, she was born October 3, 1943, to Syble Plake Callenius and Carl Callenius. Mrs. Broussard retired with WalMart.
Survivors include her mother, Syble Patterson of Spring Branch; fiance’ Darrell Royer of Beaumont; daughter, Michelle Gianakakis of Lumberton; son, Michael Rawlings of Beaumont; brother, Jimmy Callenius and his wife, Linda of Spring Branch; sister, Pamela Green and her husband, Curt of Fletcher, North Carolina; and a host of numerous other friends and family members.
Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2011, at Broussard’s.
