Jared Douglas Rogers, 24, of Nederland, died Sunday, December 4, 2011. Born March 26, 1987, to Deana Mattson and Mark Douglas Rogers in Victoria, Texas; he was a resident of the Mid-County area for the last six years. Jared was employed as a pilot with K.U.S.A. Aviation for the last two years. He loved flying.
Jared is survived by his parents, Mark and Deana Rogers of Nederland; brothers, Mark Jacob Rogers of Orange and Jason Rogers of Nederland; grandparents, Sam and Carolyn Teas of Salado, Texas and Mr. Marion J. Rogers of Chatsworth, Georgia; niece, Cami Jay Rogers of Nederland; and nephew, Logan Rogers of Orange.
A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
A private family committal will be held at a later date.
