Agnes LeBlanc Forey, 103, of Port Arthur, died Saturday, December 3, 2011, at Gulf Healthcare Center. She was born February 10, 1908, in Napoleonville, Louisiana to Florestine Boudreaux and Amile LeBlanc. Agnes enjoyed riding her bike, watching baseball and crocheting. She was a wonderful mother who loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, James Forey and his wife, Pearl of Nederland, Ernest Forey and his wife, Josephine of Beaumont, and Elaine Forey Gros of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Leonard Forey, Richard Forey, Neysa Forey Sims, Mark Forey, Jerry Forey, Carolyn Forey Mazzola, Diane Gros Fisher and Geary Gros; fourteen great grandchildren; and twelve great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Morris John Forey; three sisters; two brothers; grandchildren, Terry Forey, Kenneth Forey, and David Forey; and one great grandchild, Natalie Sims.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Street, Nederland, with a committal to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 101 Block Street, Port Neches, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland. A gathering of her family and friends will be Monday, December 5, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
Serving as pallbearers will be Leonard Forey, Richard Forey, Gary Sims, Mark Forey, Jerry Forey and Geary Gros.
