Mary B. Segrest, 73, of Port Arthur, died Thursday, December 1, 2011, at Oak Grove Nursing Home in Groves. Born April 17, 1938, to Rosa Lee Theus in Silsbee, she was a lifelong resident of the Mid-County area. Mary enjoyed tending to her plants and playing Pick 3 Lottery. She loved her family and pets dearly.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna E. Aultman of Clermont, Florida; son, Arvie R. Segrest, Jr., and his wife, Diane of Jonestown; sister, Yvonne Bryan of Beaumont; brother, Darrell Bielecki and his wife, Pat of El Paso; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; son, Charles Segrest; sister, JoAnn Jurries; and brother, Florian A. Bielecki, Jr.
Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 5, 2011, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland, with burial to follow at Cunningham Cemetery, Hardin County. Preceding her service, a gathering of her family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m. Monday, at Broussard’s.
