Mary Julia Gillman

Mary Julia Gillman, 88, of Pasadena formerly of High Island, died November 27, 2011, at the First Colony Health and Rehabilitation in Houston.    She was born in Beaumont on March 22, 1923, to Lee and Mary Cartridge.   Mary is survived by her son, Francis Harold “Buddy” Gillman, Jr. and his wife, Linda of Carthage; daughters, Carol Andrews and her husband, Richard of Richmond, Helen Bourgeois and her husband, Scott of Pasadena, and Judy Lee Hobbs of Milam; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gillman; and daughter, Bobbie Jo Gillman.   Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie with burial to follow in High Island Cemetery.
