Judy A. Leger Broussard

Judy A. Leger Broussard, 69, of Fannett, died Sunday, November 27, 2011, at her home. She was born in Beaumont on August 15, 1942, to Aline East Leger and Simon Leger.
Judy and her husband of fifty-two years, John have called Fannett home. They traveled extensively after John’s retirement and most enjoyed their frequent visits to Fredericksburg. She was known to have a green thumb and was an excellent gardener, as well as an excellent cook.
Survivors other than her husband, John include her children, Coy Broussard and his wife, Terri; Brandan (B.J.) Broussard and his wife, Traci; Cammie Hankamer and her husband, Mitch; and Kelly Cothern and her husband, Jay, all of Fannett; brother, Dexter Leger and his wife, Charlene of Vidor; sister, Audrey Williams of Beaumont and Cathy Goss and her husband, Tony of Mauriceville; grandchildren, Aaron, Garrett, Chelsie, Austin, and Lexi; and great-grandchildren, Jacqlynn, Jordan, Ian, and Maddison.
Her funeral service will be 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of her family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday evening, prior to her service at Broussard’s.
The committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
