William Bretfield “Bret” Black, 49, of Houston, died Saturday, November 12, 2011.
He was born October 12, 1962, in Beaumont, to Sandra Lee Sonfield Black and Norman Frank Black, Jr. He had been a resident of Houston for twenty-five years and was a bookkeeper.
Survivors include his sister, Becky Cleaver of Austin; and brothers, Beau Black and his wife, Rachel of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Steven Bradford “Brad” Black of Crystal Beach.
His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 20, 2011, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer, Winnie. A gathering of his family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service, at Broussard’s. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Bret Black and Sandra Price to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 815 Market Street, Galveston, Texas 77550.
