Sandra Lee Price, 75, of Crystal Beach, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
She was born June 29, 1936, in Beaumont, to Maxie DeMary Sonfield and George Sonfield. Sandra had been a lifelong resident of the Beaumont area before residing at Crystal Beach for over thirty years.
Survivors include her daughter, Becky Cleaver of Austin; sons, Beau Black and his wife, Rachel of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Steven Bradford “Brad” Black of Crystal Beach; grandchildren, Sarah Lauren Cleaver, Jesse Black, and Frank “Frankie” Black; and her dog, Pebbles.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Bain Price; and her son, Bret Black.
Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 20, 2011, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer, Winnie. A gathering of her family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service, at Broussard’s. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Bret Black and Sandra Price to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 815 Market Street, Galveston, Texas 77550.
