Oren Paul Knott

Oren Paul Knott, 65, of LaBelle, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont.  Born September 26, 1946, to Marie Meche and Valex Knott in Port Arthur, he was a lifelong resident of the area. Oren enjoyed fishing, hunting, gathering with friends and family, having a good time, and hanging out with Cynthia, Richard and Donnie.

He is survived by his son, Steven Knott of Houston; brothers, Russell Knott and his wife, Sharon of Hemphill and Rickie Knott and his wife, Cathy of Nederland; sisters, Janice Horn of Nederland, Lisa Pipak and her husband, Joseph of Kingwood, and Kayla Lee and her husband, Keith of Nederland; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends in the LaBelle community.

Oren is preceded in death by his parents.

His graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Saturday afternoon, at Broussard’s, with a Rosary recited at 12:00 Noon.
