Myrna Webster, 88, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at Calder Woods in Beaumont. She was born in Hemphill on March 2, 1923, to Mae Crocker Butler and Thomas Claude Butler. A resident of the area since 1946, she was a member of First Baptist Church and an executive secretary for Southland Life Insurance Company for twenty years.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-nine years, Charles Webster of Beaumont; grandson, Michael Webster; and great-granddaughter, Samantha Leigh Webster, both of Enola, Pennsylvania.
She is preceded in death by her son, Mickey Webster.
Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2011, at First Baptist Church Chapel, 900 Calder Avenue, Beaumont, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A gathering of her family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday afternoon prior to her service at First Baptist Church.
