Pansy Lynn Lewis, 88, of Winnie died November 9, 2011, at the Arboretum of Winnie.

She was born on August 1, 1923 in Los Angeles, California to Rosy Matthews Moore and Ona C. Moore.

Pansy had lived in the Winnie area since 1957. She enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting, listening to big band music and being with her family.

Pansy is survived by sons, Ervin Lewis of Winnie, Willie Lewis and his wife, Loretta of Louisiana and Richard Lewis of Lufkin; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Everett Lewis.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 11, 2011, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive, in Winnie with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 8:00 a.m. until time of service Friday morning at Broussard’s.
