Betty Ann Duhon, 75, of Missouri City, died Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at Triumph Hospital in Sugarland. Betty was born in Jacksonville, Texas on February 18, 1936, to Ada McGown Doucette and Charles O. Wilson. She had lived in Hardin County most of her life and was the owner of Duhon’s Café in Hull and co-owner of Duhon Blueberry Farm in Honey Island. She also worked as a clerk with Gulf States Utilities and as a secretary for Houston Chemical.
Survivors include her husband, Donald M. Duhon of Missouri City; son, Dane Duhon of Missouri City; sister, Helen McClendon of Kilgore; and grandson, Jace Duhon.
Her graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2011, at Guedry Cemetery in Batson with a gathering of her family and friends from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., prior to her service, at Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze.
