Johnnie Bauer, 70, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was born to Madelyn Albanese Bauer and Johnnie Edward Bauer, Sr. on March 23, 1941. Johnnie was a United States Air Force veteran and retired as a systems analyst for Goodyear.
Survivors include his wife, Mary DaNell Bauer; daughter, Donna Trevino and her husband, Jesse; grandson, Christopher Trevino all of Lumberton; and aunt, Virginia Smith of Conroe.
His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 5, 2011, at Midway Baptist Church, 4512 Ellis Drive, Lumberton, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 4, 2011, at Broussard’s.
