He was born October 16, 1933, in Franklin, Indiana, to Sophrona Pavey Linthicum and Paul Edward Linthicum, and had been a resident of Beaumont for thirty years.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Linthicum of Beaumont; two daughters, Kimie Henry of Beaumont, and Sherie Shayesteh and her husband Mike of Missouri City; four grandchildren; and sister, Wilma Deck.

He is preceded in death by his son, Mark; brothers, LeRoy and Vencil; and sister, Willadeen.

A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
