Linda Lee Whitehead, 66, of Fannett died November 1, 2011, at the Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. She was born on July 23, 1945, in Beaumont to Elton and Ethel Adams
She is survived by her longtime companion of eighteen years, Pete Rodriguez of Fannett, sons, Sidro Mendoza Jr. and Carl Whitehead, Jr. and his wife, Monica all of Hamshire; daughters, Rhonda Meguess and her husband, Kendall of Fannett and Michelle Duhon of LaBelle; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, John Adams and his wife, Julie of California and James Livingston of Fannett; sisters, Delores Wilcox and her husband, Thomas of Vidor, Patricia Revia of Fannett, Glenda Guiterrez of Beaumont, Cathy Knoblock and her husband, Chris of Vidor and Dixie Ferguson and her husband, Steve of Beaumont; and numerous relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Bricker.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 4, 2011, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive, in Winnie with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Broussard’s.
