Jason C. Szudzik, 41, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont.
He was born October 29, 1970, in Buffalo, New York, to Susanne E. Reid Szudzik and the late Robert Stanley Szudzik, and had been a resident of Beaumont and Lumberton since 1981.
Survivors include his mother, Sue Szudzik of Beaumont; son, LCpl Robbie Szudzik of San Diego, California; sister, Alyson King of Lumberton; nieces and nephews, Morgan King, Mason King, and Camden King; his fiancé, Deanna David, and her children, Chasity Dunham, Heather Montgomery, C.J. Montgomery, and Bailey Montgomery; aunt, Margaret Hengel of Buffalo, New York; and uncles, John Szudzik and Jim Reid.
His funeral service will be 7:30 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., Friday evening until time of service at Broussard’s.
A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, Tennessee 38148.
