Mary Doris Gabriel Wilkins

Mary Doris Gabriel Wilkins, 58, of Sour Lake, died at her home on Thursday, October 27, 2011.  She was born May 21, 1953 in Fort Yukon, Alaska, and had been a resident of Sour Lake for thirty-eight years.

Survivors include her sons, Richard Wilkins and Sabrina Abshire, and Randy Wilkins all of Sour Lake; brother, Tommy Gabriel; and grandchildren, Colby Wilkins, A.J. Jones, Kelvin Wilkins, and Kayden Wilkins.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David Wilkins; father, Grafton Gabriel; mother, Barbara Strom Gabriel Solomon; stepfather, Rev. Mardow Solomon; and brother, Ron Dugay.

A graveside service of her cremated body will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 4, 2011, at Grayburg Cemetery, Old Monument Road,  Sour Lake, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
