Alma Frances Blair, 83, of Bronson, died Thursday, October 20, 2011.  A native and lifelong resident of the area, Mrs. Blair was born October 23, 1927, to Edith Mann and Dr. Franklin Farrington.  She was a retired supervisor from the Texas Employment Commission.

 

Survivors include her sons, Donald Blair of Bronson and David Blair and his wife, Cindy of Nederland; grandchildren, Mike and his wife, Julie, Shane and his wife, Jessica, Brandi Kay, Amber Johnson and her husband, Joey, and Sara; great-grandchildren, Ashley Phillips and her husband, John, Tracy Blair, Brittney Blair, Claci Cloud, Lilly, Lydia, Makayla, Hailey, Savanah, Stephen, Theresa, and Noah; and great-great-granddaughter, Mackenzie.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, John L. Blair.

 

Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 24, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery.  A gathering of her family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., Monday prior to the service at Broussard’s.
