Thelma E. Glover, 83, of Silsbee died Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at Silsbee Convalescent Center in Silsbee.
Thelma had lived in the area for twenty-two years and was a housewife.
She is survived by her husband, Reverend Ervin Glover of Silsbee; sons, Charles Howell and his wife, Belinda of Fairbanks, Alaska, Doug Howell and his wife, Linda of Frankston, Jerry Howell and his wife, Patsy of Jasper, and Wade Glover and his wife, Sharon of Lumberton; daughter, Connie Sherill and her husband, Harold of Lumberton; twenty grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Glenn Cupit and his wife, Blanche of Liberty; and sisters, Lillian Thacker of San Augustine and Zelma Flurry of Dayton.
Thelma is preceded in death by her parents, Burt and Callie Belle Cupit; and her first husband, Edward Howell.
Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2011, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Burial will be after the service at 3:00 p.m. at Shilo Cemetery in San Augustine, Texas. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, October 6, 2011, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
