Mable Lee Guillory, 80, of China, passed away Monday, September 26, 2011, at The Clairmont in Beaumont. She was born March 13, 1931, in Ville Platte, Louisiana, to Melissa Brown Lee and Darius Lee, and had been a lifelong resident of China.
Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Guillory Jinks and her husband, Derald “Binky” of Sulphur, Louisiana; sons, Lester J. Guillory and his wife, Anita of Baytown; James V. Guillory of China; Bobby Guillory and his wife, Barbara of China; Nelson Guillory, Jr. of Ville Platte, Louisiana; and Marty Guillory of Beaumont; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Runie Crestwell of Orange.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of forty-eight years, Nelson Guillory, Sr.
Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 29, 2011, Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont, with interment to follow at China Cemetery. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with at Rosary recited at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, September, 28, 2011, at Broussard’s.
