Sheila Chisholm, 83, of Port Arthur, died Saturday, September 17, 2011, at Magnolia Manor in Groves. Born in London, England to Mary Theresa and William Hedges on July 25, 1928, she was a resident of the Mid-County area since 1957. Sheila was a very special woman who enjoyed knitting, reading history and romance novels, and especially her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Chisholm of Port Arthur; children, Toni Stevens of Deer Park, Andrew Chisholm of Colmesneil, and James Chisholm of Austin; grandchildren, Catherine Stevens, Logan Chisholm, and Amanda Abshire; and great grandchildren, Tanner Stevens, Caden Stevens, and Blaine Abshire.
Sheila is preceded in death by her parents.
A private family committal will be held at a later date under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland.
