Earnest Sanders, Jr., 76, of Stowell died August 31, 2011, at his residence. A native of Newton County, Texas, he was born on February 23, 1935, to Earnest Sanders, Sr., and Janie King Sanders. Earnest has lived in the Winnie-Stowell area since 1941 and was a retired construction worker.
He is survived by his wife, Hattie George Sanders; daughter, Brenda Sanders and her husband, Louis Tarver all of Stowell; grandchildren, Dustin Tarver, Lexie Tarver and Cody Tarver; and numerous relatives and friends.
Cremation was under the direction of Broussard’s, 134. W. Buccaneer Drive, in Winnie.
