Robert Winfree
October 17, 1933 - May 31, 2011

Robert Winfree, 77, of Beaumont died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at his residence.  Born October 17, 1933, in La Junta, Colorado to Birdie Dedmon Winfree and Reggie Eual Winfree, he had been a Beaumont resident over forty years. He was the owner of American Siding and Remodeling where “VINYL IS FINAL” and proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard during the Korean War.  Robert loved gardening and keeping his family updated on the weather, and most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

 

Survivors include his wife, Anne Winfree of Beaumont; son, Keith Winfree of Fulshear; daughters, Sharon Rigsby of Beaumont, Felicia Cravens of Houston, and Kathleen Mullenix of Beaumont; grandchildren, Ryan Myers, Brooks Winfree of Fulshear, Lilly Winfree of Fulshear, Chelsea Winfree of Austin, Hannah Cravens of Houston, Victoria Mitchell, Amanda Utkov, Olivia Rigsby, Morgan Winfree, and Madison Mullenix all of Beaumont; and great grandson, Jackson Utkov.

 

His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 N. Major Drive, Beaumont.  A gathering of his family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, June 5, 2011, at Brousard’s.  A private family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
