Beckey L. Newton-Viator

 Beckey L. Newton Viator, 54, of Beaumont, died Monday, May 9, 2011, at Christus Hospital, St. Elizabeth, in Beaumont.  She was born November 12, 1956, in San Antonio, to Vergie and Lee Stelly. Beckey was a resident of the area for the majority of her life.  She loved to cook, dance, fish, hunt, or do anything outdoors.  She also was known for her sweetness, beauty, strong faith, for taking care of family and being a devoted wife and mother.

Beckey is preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy Lynn Moore-McNeil.

She is survived by her husband, Gregory James Viator, Sr. of Fannett; children, Misty, Megan and her husband Justin, Gregory , Jr.; and grandchildren, Madison, Malorie, Kayla and Kyler; brothers, Wendell “T-Bill” Newton, Andy Newton, Toby Lee Stelly, Patrick Stelly; sisters, Karen Newton-Douglass, and Christine Stelly-Broussard; and parents, Lee and Vergie Stelly.

Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland.  A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at Broussard’s.
