Paul B. Brown, 80, of Pinewood, died Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont.
Born July 30, 1930, in Elizabeth, Louisiana to Louise Edwards Brown and Paul B. Brown, Sr., he had been a resident of the Beaumont area since 1949. Paul was a retired owner/operator for G&B Marine Supply and also worked in the Pro Shop at Idylwild Golf Club.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-two years, Janey Brown of Pinewood; sons, Michael G. Brown and his wife, Ginger of Friendswood and Richard A. Brown and his wife, Sherry of Kingwood; five grandchildren, Derrick Brown and his wife, Emily, Craig Brown and his wife, Laura, Paula Brown, Ryan Brown and Katie Brown; and four great grandchildren.
His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2011, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 3810 North Major Drive, Beaumont with entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Broussard’s.
