David Choate, 48, of Beaumont, died Monday, April 25, 2011, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont.
Born March 4, 1963, in Albany, Georgia to Doris Carrington Choate and Thomas Choate; David had been a resident of the Beaumont area for over forty years and was a survey field engineer for Triple S.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Choate of Beaumont; children, Troy Choate and Krystal Choate both of Beaumont; parents, Doris and Tommy Choate of Village Mills; brothers, Tommy Choate, Jr. and his wife, Christy of Pasadena, Chris Choate, and Gregory Choate and his wife, Aubyn all of Village Mills, and Charlie Choate and his wife, Tammy of Port Neches; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at Voth Baptist Church, 11245 Church Road, Beaumont with burial to follow at China Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at Broussard’s.
