Gerald Simon

Gerald Simon, 89, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at the Highland House in Highlands. Born June 27, 1921, to Gardelle and Pauline Simon, and had been a lifelong resident of the Beaumont area. He worked as a planner for Mobil Oil Refinery and services in the United States Air Force during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Simon of Beaumont; two sons, Ralph Simon and his wife Kathleen of Crosby and Michael Simon and his wife Sherril of Houston; and four grandchildren, Shannon Simon, Steven Simon, Stephanie Simon, and Ashlyn Simon.
His graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 22, 2011, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
