Domingo "Dominic" Carlin
January 17, 1937 - April 19, 2011
Domingo “Dominic” Carlin, Sr., 74, of Beaumont, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at Harbor Hospice. He retired from Beaumont Fire Department as a captain after thirty-three years of service and was a veteran of the United States Army 101st Airborne.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Carlin; daughter, Diana Jayasinghe of Copperscove, Texas; sons, Domingo “Nick” Carlin of Beaumont and Ron Carlin of Nederland; sister, Rose Gussman; brother, Tito Carlin both of Beaumont; step-son, Alton Stanfield of New Braunfels; step-daughters, Tina Morgan and Alisha Bradley both of Vidor; and fourteen grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Gloria Carlin; and sister, Polly Kahaunaele.
His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2011, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A Rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Broussard’s.
