James T. “Jim” Bryant, 74, of Beaumont, died Friday, April 15, 2011. Born April 30, 1936, to Ernestine Conner and Thomas Bryant, he had been a resident of Beaumont all his life. Jim was retired from Gulf States Utilities.
He was an avid bowler in the Beaumont community, participating in numerous leagues over the years.
He is survived by his children, Melissa Marcotte of Katy, Donna LeBlanc of Beaumont, David Bryant of Vidor and Clint Bryant of Beaumont; grandchildren, Phillip Castleberry, Kristina LeBlanc, Eric LeBlanc, and Sarah Breckenridge; one great-grandchild, Jaydin David; and sister, Carolyn Parsons.
A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Southeast Texas Bowling Association, 1945 Hickory Drive, Vidor, Texas 77662.
