Peggy J. Towery Dugger, 87, of Beaumont, died Friday, April 15, 2011, at her residence. She was born March 13, 1924, in Tehuacana, Texas, to Vera Clark Jones and Ruben Jones.
Survivors include her daughter, Michael Towery Lee and her husband Robert; grandson, Stephen B. Lee; and great-grandson, David Anthony Boyd Lee all of Orange; and brother, Charles R. Irwin of Baytown.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, David C. Towery; her former husband, Charlie Dugger; and twin daughters, Judith Hess and Janet Satterwhite.
Her graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Memory Gardens of Edna, 204 Buffalo Street, Edna, Texas under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
