Alta Petty Olen

Alta Petty Olen, 92, of Lawton, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 9, 2011. She was born September 23, 1918, in Emory, Texas, to Robert and Rosa Dorn.
Survived by her daughter, Barbara Green and her husband Lou of Beaumont; sons, Ronald Petty of Corpus Christi and Pat Petty and his wife Angela of Nacogdoches; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; her twin sister; and grandson, Ronald Lance Petty.
A gathering of her family and friends will be from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Monday, April 11, 2011, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beaumont Bible Church, 5995 Tangledahl Lane, Beaumont, Texas 77706.
