Daniel Severinson, 51, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Born August 11, 1959, to Ethylene McClelland Severinson and Merton Severinson in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Annapolis, Maryland before moving to Texas in 1981.
He was a retired pilot with the Sabine Pilot Association. Daniel was a great husband and loved his wife dearly. They enjoyed spending time at their home in Colorado and traveling.
Survivors include his wife, Karon Jones Severinson of Beaumont; father, Merton Severinson of Beaumont; step-daughter, Brianne Jones Williamson of Vidor; two grandsons, Alex Williamson and Kyle Williamson both of Vidor; brothers, David Severinson and Mark Severinson both of Austin; and their beloved “Roxy”.
His memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011, at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 1350 North 23rd Street, Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will follow after the service at the church. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
