Carroll Joyce Mulenix-Munson joined our Christ and Lord Savior on Monday, April 4, 2011. A lifelong resident of the Beaumont area, she was born July 12, 1936, to Doty Max and Margaret Mulenix. She worked in the restaurant industry.
Survivors include her two daughters, Deborah Kinnebrew McCarthy and her husband John of Houston and Diana Kinnebrew Vann-Stewart and her husband Dawin of Bryan; seven grandchildren, Chris McCarthy and his wife Lisa, Brian McCarthy and his wife Megan, David McCarthy and his girlfriend Brandi Robinson, Kevin McCarthy and his wife Christina, Troy Vann and his wife Laura, Tammy Vann Quinn and her husband Keith, and Tracy Vann Hurych; and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Munson; parents; brother, Max Mulenix, and sister, Sylvia Mulenix.
Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 7, 2011, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of her family and friends will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Broussard’s.
