Ian Thomas Schwab, 33, of Sour Lake died Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at his residence. He was born April 19, 1977, in Lafayette, Louisiana to Thomas Clinton and Debra Sue (Domingue) Schwab. A lifetime resident of Sour Lake, he was an instrument technician.
Survivors include his father, Tom Schwab and Sandra McShan; mother, Debra Webb and her husband Jerry of Austin; sister, Lauren Landry and her husband Doug of Nederland; brothers, Kenneth Frank and his wife Angela of Bridge City and John Frank of Austin; grandmothers, Helen Schwab and Mary Domingue both of Lafayette, Louisiana; uncles, Carl Schwab and his wife Dorothy of Carrollton, Bill Schwab and his wife Ellen of Rowlett, and Eddie Domingue II and Chris Domingue and his wife Deana both of Lafayette, Louisiana; aunts, Liz Ardoin of Arlington, Virginia, Denice Murley and her husband Jerry of Austin, and Danita Domingue of Lafayette; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other family members.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Carl Schwab, Sr. and Eddie Domingue, Jr.; and uncles, Danny and Ryan Domingue.
His Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 3810 North Major Drive, Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze. A gathering of his family and friends will be Friday, March 25, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Broussard’s.
