Sharon Rose Due Allen, 68, of Beaumont, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.
A longtime saleswoman at a variety of places, she was proud to have been the first automobile saleswoman in the Beaumont area. Sharon was a five times Jefferson Award nominee. She was a parishioner of St. Anne Catholic Church where she was a member of the St. Anne Ladies. She enjoyed volunteering at the Best Years Center, and being involved in the Lions Club.
Survivors include her children, John Todd Garner of Hamshire, Tashia Due Sutton and her husband Britt of Port Neches, Tamara Due Hobbs Grumbles and her husband Scott of Nederland, and Tina Allen Chester and her husband Sean of Lumberton; sister, Michelle Hobbs and her husband Ken of Beaumont; brother, Robert Joseph Due of Nederland; and eleven grandchildren, Hannah Grumbles, Michael Grumbles, Jenna Dunlap, Karysa Chester, Shelby Chester, Kimberleigh Chester, Tabitha Sutton, Dalton Sutton, Keily Sutton, Josh Garner and John Ryan Garner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mae Marie Fryou Due and Woodrow Wilson Due.
Her family would like to thank American Cancer Society volunteer Jo Stanley for her friendship.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2011, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2715 Calder, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
