Cloyd Dugat, Jr.
April 25, 1944 - March 9, 2011

Cloyd “Butch” Dugat, Jr., 66, of Fannett, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at his residence with his family by his side.  A native of Crowley, Louisiana and resident of Fannett most of his life; Butch was born April 25, 1944, to Melanie Leleux Dugat and Cloyd Dugat, Sr.  He was a maintenance planner with Goodyear Chemical Plant and was a United States Army veteran.

 

Survivors include his wife of forty-two years, Kathleen Byerly Dugat; children, Stephen Derrick Dugat and his wife Lawanna, Tiffany Dugat Nicholson and her husband Paul and Dustin Heath Dugat all of Fannett; and four grandchildren, Nikki Dugat, Montana Nicholson, Cheyenne Nicholson and Emily Dugat.

 

A gathering of his family and friends will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Broussard’s Crematorium, 5150 Stivers Drive, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
