"Rocky" Alcee Dugas, Jr.
February 3, 1943 - February 9, 2011

“Rocky” Alcee Dugas, Jr., 68, of Beaumont died Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at his residence.  He was born February 3, 1943, to Rose DeQueant and Alcee Antone Dugas, Sr. Rocky was a retired machinist with Goodyear Tire and Rubber and a member of the Wingfoot Club at Goodyear.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserve.   Survivors include his wife of fifteen years, Nancy Lyons Dugas of Beaumont; son, John Trent Dugas and his wife Angie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; step-daughters, Lori Lee of League City and Melissa Diaz of Beaumont; brother, Michael “Mickey” Dugas of Onalaska; grandchildren, Steeler Dugas, Amelia Dugas, Candra Prince, Lauren Lee, Landon Lee, Laela Lee, Damian Diaz, and Dylan Diaz; and many nieces and nephews.   He is preceded in death by his son, Micah Wade Dugas; the mother of his children, Linda Kocurek Dugas; and brothers, Alton Dugas and Denver Dugas.   Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 N. Major Drive, Beaumont. Mr. Dugas’ memorial service will be held at a later date.
